Diabetes care and support - share your experiences
Changing services in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin
There are approximately 30,000 people living with diabetes across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin (STW) and this number is increasing. In 2030 the number of people living with Diabetes across the UK is predicted to reach 5.5 million (Diabetes UK, 2022).
Organisations within the local Integrated Care System (ICS), including NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and public health bodies, are looking at ways these services can be improved with the help of patient feedback.
In order to do this, we would like to hear from people with diabetes or those who have been identified as being at risk of developing diabetes (pre-diabetic) about their experiences of diabetic care and support. We will then share the responses with the NHS and Public Health to help inform the transformation programme and ensure the patient voice is at the centre of developments.
