Homeless Health Needs Survey

31/05/2018

The homeless can face difficult barriers to accessing health care services. The Shrewsbury Ark and Healthwatch Shropshire are working together to try and understand the health service needs of the homeless in Shropshire, what the barriers are and how services could be improved. We would really like to hear about your experiences of accessing health care if you, or somebody you know, have:

  • Stayed at a hostel, foyer, refuge, night shelter or B&B hotel, or any other type of homelessness service
  • Stayed with friends or relatives because you had no home of own ('sofa surfed')
  • Slept rough
  • Applied to the council as homeless

If you would like to share your experience please get in touch with Healthwatch Shropshire on 01743 237884. All calls will be treated confidentially and any information you share with us will be anonymised. More details are available here.
